Seriously this is the most "souls-like" game i've ever played (and i've played lords of the fallen and salt and santuary, this tops both of em) Only *mage type and aldritch abominations cause stress so i prioratize themĪnd camping is near essential for stress, can't believe it took me 2 hours to figure it out Here's what i did, after the first mission i invested on the stagecoach and i have 2 different teams (with shuffling) which i send them out on questing Originally posted by Quickshooter:nevermind i "got gud" after figuring out the mechanics (it's frikin dark souls level of complexity) Also, be sure to bring any heros with good Stress Healing Camping skills (Houndmaster, Jester, Hellion, and Vestal [most skills are only decent on the religious however).Īlso in combat, be sure to have a fast hero who can pick or stun stress monsters. You can hold out on camping on medium/ long missions until you finish the mission completely, to the camp at the end to relieve stress before traveling back to the hamlet (NOTE: Be sure to carry any hero that can "Prevent Nightime Ambush" to maximize safety). Weald has fountains in rooms sometimes that recover around 15 stress. Ruins will also have Confession Booths that you can spend Holy Water on to recover 30 stress. When they're done, simply discard them and get 4 new ones for the next week. Then, keep 4 empty slots in your barracks so, in case of a money shortage or when you need to spend a week recovering, simply use the 4 heros in the Stage Coach and take em to a mission. Upgrade the stagecoach to have 4 heros every week. If you're just starting out in a new file There are plenty of ways to recover stress in the game:
